Villa Description

Colina Del Mar is located in Fitts Village on the fashionable West Coast of Barbados; renowned for its excellent white sand beaches and crystal clear blue sea. The villa is approached through wrought iron gates to a coral stone courtyard. The foyer leads to the grand living room and formal dining room which features Italian tile and is elegantly furnished with European antiques and traditionally styled upholstered sofa.

Built on two levels, the living room, dining room and one bedroom with en-suite bath all open through graceful ahogany arched doorways to the garden, pool and beachfront terraces.

A staircase leads from the living room onto a large balustrade terrace that is latticed for shade and has a dining table and chairs making it just perfect for savoring the sunsets on the western horizon.

On the upper level, both bedrooms open to private terraces and have en-suite bathrooms as well.

A private plunge pool complements this lovely property.

The beach at the villa offers excellent snorkeling in the reef and wonderful swimming may be enjoyed just a few minutes walk down the beach.

Just back from a fantastic vacation

This was our first trip to Barbados--and our first villa rental. This house is amazing. The beach was just beautiful while the staff was more than accomodating. We very much enjoyed the decor of the house. I cant believe they rent their beautful house.

I had a fantastic time in Barbados. I really enjoyed myself at Colina del Mar. I will definitely contact Villas caribe in the future when planning other villa rental vacations.

A lovely villa

A lovely villa that did justice to the photographs. The furnishings of good quality - clean and well maintained. Both staff members attached to the villa are very helpful and ensured our stay was enjoyable. Criticisms? They need to install a/c in the main living room area and the freezer section of the fridge needs attention as it failed to freeze. Also, the ground floor bedroom a/c struggled and was not as effective as the ones upstairs. Apart from these minor gripes if you are thinking of renting this villa go ahead. You will not be disappointed. The beach location only adds to the experience although be warned, while the beach is sand the waters edge is rock.
